    Gary Messiana, President and Chief Executive Officer
    Gary Messiana brings over 17 years of successful sales, marketing and operations executive management experience to his position as President and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining Netli, Mr. Messiana was the acting CEO of Diligent Software where he led a successful effort to sell the company. Prior experience includes the role of Vice President of Sales at diCarta. In this role, Mr. Messiana was responsible for growing diCarta from a start-up to the leading provider of Contract Management Software. Prior to joining diCarta, Mr. Messiana was a Vice President of Sales at CrossWorlds Software, a leading provider of Enterprise Application Integration software. Mr. Messiana has held senior sales management positions with numerous high tech start-ups including Sequent, Triathon, Inference Corporation and Brightware and has managed both direct and indirect sales channels. His expertise includes opening and growing new markets in commercial as well as government sectors for emerging technologies. He has won numerous sales awards and holds a BA from Binghamton University where he graduated with honors.

    Adam J. Grove, PhD, CTO and Co-Founder
    Adam Grove has an outstanding track record in computer science research and engineering. Prior to co-founding Netli, Dr. Grove was Director of Technology at Savera Systems Inc., a software startup developing innovative billing and rating applications for the telecom industry. From 1993 to 1998 Adam was a Research Scientist at NEC Research Institute in Princeton, where he published over 40 peer-reviewed scientific papers in areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, decision theory, statistical reasoning, and logic. Dr. Grove was also chief software developer and strategy researcher at Guthrie Financial Corporation in New Zealand. Dr. Grove earned his PhD in computer science from Stanford University in 1992, and has a BS in mathematics from the University of Auckland, New Zealand.

    Robert H. Finley, CFO
    Mr. Finley joined Netli as CFO in September 2002. Prior to Netli, he was a CFO consultant, working with enterprise software companies and specializing in due diligence engagements for Venture Capitalists. Before Mr. Finley's latest consulting engagements, he was CFO of MilitaryAdvantage, a web portal serving active duty military personnel and veterans. Prior to that, Mr. Finley served as CFO of Optimal Networks, an enterprise software company whose products helped E-Commerce companies optimize their websites' performance. Preceding Optimal, he was Controller at Whistle Communications, which made an award-winning small business internet appliance. Before Whistle, Mr. Finley worked in a variety of large companies including KPMG, where he performed auditing and consulting roles; Citigroup; and SBC/Pacific Bell. Mr. Finley has a BS and an MBA from UC Berkeley.

    Willie M. Tejada, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development
    With over 15 years of marketing, product management, and business development experience Mr. Tejada joined Netli in December 2002. Prior to Netli, he was a Co-Founder of EoExchange, a leading provider of search and retrieval software servicing online businesses, media companies, and global enterprises. At EoExchange, Mr. Tejada led the company's product and marketing efforts. His work in marketing and business development led to relationships with leading companies including ABN AMRO Bank, Forbes, CMP Media and NBC Olympics Inc. Prior to EoExchange, Mr. Tejada served as Vice President of Product Marketing for NetManage Inc., an Intranet infrastructure company. During his tenure, NetManage launched over a dozen new products, revenues grew 500%, and NetManage was named fastest growing corporation in the U.S. by Fortune Magazine. From 1986 to 1994 Mr. Tejada held various senior management positions with Novell Inc., the pioneer in local area networking. At Novell he led marketing, product management, developer and strategic relations organizations. An accomplished communicator and presenter, Mr. Tejada is an inventor listed on US Patent 6,078,924 and also the author of Facilitating Competitive Intelligence: The Next Step in Internet-Based Research, published in CRC Press's "Best Practices Series" in Internet Management.

    W. Scot Brenton, Vice President Strategic Sales
    Mr. Brenton has demonstrated consistent sales success along with business development savvy at MCI, MFS Telecom and WinStar Wireless, where he was General Manager of the Western Division. Mr. Brenton expanded his general management skills as the founder and President of Collohouse, LLC, a successful carrier neutral collocation company acquired by LayerOne, Inc. Mr. Brenton has been the top revenue producer at every position, and has negotiated partnership agreements with Genuity, XO, McCleod, ICG, TCG and ELI, among others. Mr. Brenton attended Wake Forest University.

    Michael Kharitonov, PhD, Chairman and Co-Founder
    Michael Kharitonov is a founder of Netli and served as the CEO and President for the first 2.5 years of the company's existence. Michael's career spans engineering, scientific research, investment banking and general management. Prior to co-founding Netli, Dr. Kharitonov was a co-founder and later the CEO of NetLive Communications Inc., a high-technology startup which developed VOIP and collaborative technologies for the Internet. From 1992 to 1996 Dr. Kharitonov worked at D. E. Shaw & Co, a New York based investment bank, where he was a Vice President. From 1986 to 1987 Michael was a Scientific Associate at CERN, the international research center in Geneva, Switzerland, known as the birthplace of the Web. He also worked as a software engineer at Teknekron Corporation. Dr. Kharitonov earned his PhD in Computer Science from Stanford University in 1993, and has a BA in Computer Science and Mathematics with highest honors from the University of California, Berkeley.
