Energy Facelift

Micro-current - is the latest advanced technology device for non-surgical facelifts. By firming, dramatically reducing wrinkles, stimulating cellular regeneration and recreating a more youthful appearance it is a complete anti-aging treatment. Also known as the Bio-wave face lifting machine, tiny micro-currents of electricity (literally measuring only millionths of an amp) are used to stimulate facial or other muscles in the body. The stimulation at this level is known as sub-sensory: that means that you feel very little, if anything at all, when the current is applied to your skin, and there is no sign of any visible muscle contraction. The muscles are gently exercised, leading to an increase in the production of protein. This tightens and firms up the muscles and reduces slackness and restores a firmer shape and tone to the face or area treated.

Some practitioners claim that micro-current therapy can also stimulate the lymphatic system, which reduces the amount of fluid in the face. This means that eye-bags can be reduced in size and the complexion can be improved. Other claims include an increased rate in the production of collagen. Results are noticeable after the first treatment.

Radio Frequency - is the most sought-after machine by Dermatologists and Plastic Surgeons today. This machine offers ultra sound peeling and sono-therapy (deep penetration by ultra sound and micro-current). New skin is manufactured by the body at the stratum germinavatum level just below the epidermis. The radio frequency machine changes the polarity of the membrane of the fibroblast (skin cells). It is highly rejuvenative by increasing the metabolic function of the cells and helping the production of collagen.

Radio frequency waves are used to reconstruct the deep tissue layers beneath the skin. This hot new trend in non-surgical face lifts is becoming a popular maintenance technique for people who are not yet ready for a full face lift.

These radio waves get past the outer skin layers and deliver heat energy to the muscles and tissues beneath. The heat helps to contract these layers and build up collagen levels. The overall result tightens up the outer layers of skin and reduces wrinkling effects. The radio frequency face lift was approved by the FDA as a non-surgical treatment for wrinkles and facial skin imperfections. It is a proven medical procedure that requires no scalpels or sutures. The procedure is very attractive as a maintenance treatment for younger patients as well who are showing initial signs of aging. By using a radio frequency face lift, these people can avoid needing a full-fledged face lift later on in life.

It's also a popular choice for busy professionals who care about their looks. The treatment only takes about an hour, and full recovery is expected in a few days.

Ultrasound Machine - is used to introduce and extract into the skin. It also helps reduce the visible effects of hyperpigmentation, wrinkles, brown spots and acne scarring. Most importantly, the Ultrasound is great for all skin types including sensitive and ethnic. If you have experienced irritation from Acid Peels or the use of topical medications such as Retin-A, then the Ultrasonic Facial may be the skin care solution you have been looking for. Ultrasound helps to vitalize cells, enhance blood circulation, increase oxygen supply, strengthen skin tissues and improve metabolism and excretion.

The Ultrasound can also be beneficial to the healing process following a surgical procedure. Ultrasound treatments can actually speed the healing process and minimize the impact of abnormal scar formation. It is also is good for pain relief.

Photo Therapy - Is another new technology studied by NASA, who reports that the LED Photo Therapy machine is 95% as effective as the cold laser machine, creating much less damage beneath the epidermis level of the skin. This machine gives a smooth surface, reducing discoloration. It works well to reduce bruises and id effective for burn therapy.

Cellular tissue contains within itself the ability to self-repair at a specific rate. There are molecules within the cells called photo-acceptors that, when activated, accelerate or speed up the cell repair process. These photo-acceptors can be activated only by a single wavelength light like that produced by a low power laser or by safe light emitting diodes (LED). When the light source is pulsing (turning on and off rapidly) it stimulates cell growth and when it is continuous (solid) it sedates the cell reducing pain and tension. Stimulation not only speeds up the repair of recent cell damage, but often chronic conditions as well. The general public can use photo-therapy units containing LEDs because they are safer, have no side effects, cannot be overused, and require very little expertise to operate. A low power laser, in comparison, requires a trained and licensed practitioner to apply it.
