Our spirit is one of social entrepreneur meets extreme adventurer, approaching the world and the creative drive of an artist with the problem solving skills of an engineer. Our company growth plan involves both private sector funding and the unique inclusion of high profile sponsorship opportunities for some of the world's top brands ready to get their message out on a global scale. We encourage international, interdisciplinary collaborations and innovation as we bring together and induce a fusion of space, art, and humanity, coalescing for on the ground beneficial change for the whole of the human family.

Team SYNERGY MOON is competing in The Google Lunar X PRIZE, a $30 million international competition. Additional bonus prize objectives and global art projects involved solidify our inclusion and commitment with everyone that shares our interest in space.

Just the Beginning

The Google Lunar X PRIZE competition marks a beginning for SYNERGY MOON; a young company of adventurers, social entrepreneurs, artists and space enthusiasts whose coming together aims to not only land our Tesla Rover & Surveyor on the lunar surface by 2012, but also to inspire and invigorate our relationship toward space travel and the moon.

Pioneering Space Travel and Exploration

Beyond our mission to win the Google Lunar X PRIZE competition we also are working toward the development of a suite of space exploration, adventuring technologies and service offerings. These are all intended to bring space closer to humanity. This includes our membership program, educational & entertaining public events, outreach campaigns and the inclusion of the arts in new and imaginative ways.

The History and Formation of SYNERGY MOON

The history of SYNERGY MOON is the coming together of two organizations, Human Synergy Project and Interplanetary Ventures. These two organizations entered the Google Lunar X PRIZE competition and shortly after partnered with Interorbital Systems and RPC Telecommunications, thus creating SYNERGY MOON.

SYNERGY MOON Enters
The Google Lunar X PRIZE Competition

Team SYNERGY MOON is competing in The Google Lunar X PRIZE, a $30 million international competition to safely land a robot on the surface of the Moon, travel 500 meters over the lunar surface, and send images and data back to the Earth. All teams must be at least 90% privately funded and must be registered to compete by December 31, 2010. There are currently over 20 registered teams working toward landing on the Moon and completing the mission objectives. The winning team will be awarded $20 million; the full first prize is available until December 31, 2012. After that date, the first prize drops to $15 million. The second team to do so will be awarded $5 million. Another $5 million will be awarded in bonus prizes. The final deadline for winning the prize is December 31, 2014.
